THE PROCESS OF SPIRITUAL REPRODUCTION

INTIMACY

Experiencing the birth of my second son Israel Cormak Kennedy has made me aware of the amazing process of child birth. As I was seeking the Lord I received revelation from the Lord about spiritual reproduction. What is intimacy? It is to give attention to; to focus on another; with adoration. A woman is usually more sensitive when it comes to being intimate. In general males sometimes rush right past intimacy, to the physical. Just as it takes intimacy to truly receive union with another so also intimacy must take place in order to receive from the Lord.

Psalm 37:9b those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

Waiting on the Lord means to serve Him. Intimacy is serving each other ones love. Worship is to intimacy what faith is to action. Worshiping the Lord is the prerequisite to receiving anything from Him. If one is in search for something they desire they must give it their full focus and attention if they have any chance to find it.

Deu 4:29 But even there, if you seek GOD, your God, you'll be able to find him if you're serious, looking for him with your whole heart and soul.

God is omnipresent He is always there, so why do we seek Him. Just like one can hear the word but not receive anything, yet another can hear the word and receive life giving change, so worship, the ability to focus and give attention to God, is the key that unlocks the door from mere hearing to receiving from Him.

Isa 22:22 I'll give him the key of the Davidic heritage. He'll have the run of the place--open any door and keep it open, lock any door and keep it locked.

The key that opens the door to the tabernacle of David is worship, true intimacy with the Lord. And it is with this key that opens the door to all wisdom and knowledge (Col 2:3).

PREGNANCY

When true intimacy (union) is experienced with God through worship the life of Christ is now formed within. We go beyond just hearing the word to receiving the life of the Word within us. The Word becomes more than just mere letters on a page to the actual life of Christ being birthed and formed within us. We now become pregnant with the Word. What we have received from God stays alive in us until it is fully formed and is ready to come out of us. We as the body of Christ are to become the Word as Christ is the Word; we are to be living pictures of the Word of God for the whole world to see, the proof that the Word is living and active (Heb. 4:12GW) today.

Luk 8:15 "But the seed in the good earth--these are the good-hearts who seize the Word and hold on no matter what, sticking with it until there's a harvest."

REPRODUCTION

When the Word of God is fully formed within us we become a tree of life that bears fruit for others around us to pick and receive. In John 15 the bible says those who abide in Christ will bear much fruit. The purpose of a tree is not just to bear fruit but it is to reproduce itself. The seed from the fruit that is picked from the tree now reproduces its lives in those who eat.

Jer 15:16 Your words were found, and I devoured them. Your words are my joy and my heart's delight, because I am called by your name, O LORD God of Armies.
