Jesus, The Answer To The World
This past weekend if you missed it Evangelist Jason Kerr was here. Saturday night he taught on the importance of knowing the Word of God. Sunday morning at the "CAVE" he held an open forum to answer questions many of us have. The question I found most commonly asked by the Teen's is why are we here?
It is vital that each person know why they are here if they are going to know what to do with their life. If one is not prepared or has no clue what they should do with themselves, they will make poor decisions that will bring regret. Most people I encounter in life including Christians are not happy people because simply they don't like their life and they have lots of regrets. One only has peace when they are fulfilling the meaning of their existence.
How does one discover the meaning of their existence? Well before I knew the Lord I had no clue. Something within me always felt I wanted to make a positive impact, I just had no clue how, I thought maybe I could become a famous actor and then I could have a voice, but what would I say, what hope is in this world apart from Christ?
It was only after God drew me to His son that I started figuring out my purpose. One can not know themselves apart from the one that made them. Pinocchio got into nothing but trouble apart from Gepeto, and so do we apart from God. It wasn't until I dove into the Word that I started knowing who I really am and what I am here to do. The bible is not just a book, it is alive (He.4:12), what is written down is not all that is there. When one is born-again they are no longer blind, they have spiritual understanding, meaning they can understand spiritual things. God is a Spirit and only those who are of God can truly understand the Word. The Word reveals what is good, pleasing, and the perfect will of God. "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, in order to prove by you what is that good and pleasing and perfect will of God." (Ro. 12:2)
Where there is peace it is because there is no confusion, one is settled, they know the direction they are going. I can't completely explain it, but the Word of God has completely transformed my life, I live in total peace and I know where I am headed. Every time I read the Word God reveals answers to whatever questions I have, he removes whatever doubt I have with His truth. Many questions we have are the result of listening to nothing but lies. I beckon you get to know God for yourself, get in the Word, He will answer your questions, and you will live a life full of peace and direction.
I know how I make a positive impact in this world is by reaching youth through my life and testimony one at a time. I am here to help lead a revolution in the church, tearing down religion and traditions of man, and helping identify and releasing God's people into their destiny. I know my purpose, do you?
