THE COMING HARVEST!

THE CALL

Joel 3:11-14 Come quickly, all you nations everywhere. Gather together in the valley." And now, O LORD, call out your warriors! "Let the nations be called to arms. Let them march to the valley of Jehoshaphat. There I, the LORD, will sit to pronounce judgment on them all. Swing the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, tread the grapes, for the winepress is full. The storage vats are overflowing with the wickedness of these people." Thousands upon thousands are waiting in the valley of decision. There the day of the LORD will soon arrive.

The Lord is calling forth His warriors, the time has come to fight. Thousands upon thousands will remain lost in the valley of decision, judgment being pronounced on them all for their wickedness, if the church does not arise from it’s slumber and get to work.

John 4:34-38"My nourishment comes from doing the will of God, who sent Me, and from finishing His work. You know the saying, 'Four months between planting and harvest.' But I say, wake up and look around. The fields are already ripe for harvest. The harvesters are paid good wages, and the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life. What joy awaits both the planter and the harvester alike! You know the saying, 'One plants and another harvests.' And it's true. I sent you to harvest where you didn't plant; others had already done the work, and now you will get to gather the harvest."

Warriors do not live for themselves, they live for the cause. We must get over ourselves, and start living for God. We have been called out of the world, not to sit back until the Lord return. We have been called out from this world to continue the work Jesus Christ began - to seek and save that which is lost (Matthew 18:11). We have been called to participate in the greatest harvest in history.

I prophesy right now that over the next three years more souls will come into the kingdom than throughout the history of mankind, in Jesus name.

THE SHIFT

We are in a time of year when many are graduating from school and moving on to the workforce. Prophetically, I believe the church is shifting from training to labor, from hearing to doing, from being fed to feeding. We are entering the stage of spiritual adulthood. The seeds planted within us are coming up to the surface. We must become the harvest before we can produce it. God is now dealing with everything in our past that has kept us from growing up. What keeps a seed from growing is weeds. The weeds in our life that we have ignored, must be uprooted for the harvest to come forth.

Matthew 15:13 Jesus replied, "Every plant not planted by My heavenly Father will be uprooted...

We are being shaken to the core. Everything that we have allowed through our eye and ear gates that God has not planted, He is uprooting from our life. The temptations we are experiencing are necessary for us to help us realize what in us needs to go. In the midst of being pulled so heavily by the things of the world, God has released great grace, an overcoming spirit, to those who would ask for it. God does not want us to fall, He wants us delivered. He wants us free of everything in this world. We can only overcome this season through worship. As we worship, God is plowing our fields, working in are hearts, changing our way of thinking, strengthening us to withstand the storm. It is vital that we worship God daily, and participate in as many worship gatherings as we can.

COUNT THE COST

Prophetically, I believe we are in the garden of Gethsemane counting the cost, wishing there was another way around dealing with sin. But the only way to deal with sin is the cross. We must face our greatest fears, we must let go of all unforgiveness, we must allow all the sin within us be nailed to the cross. Yes, it will hurt, it will hurt more than anything we have ever experienced. We will be rejected by the world and even by those closest to us. It is necessary, however, if we are going to experience the fullness of the resurrection power of our Lord. It is time like The Lord said, “Nevertheless, not My will but Your will be done…” It is time to continue on the path that Jesus took until all sin in our life is put to death on the cross. And God is able to say to us “It is finished”, and the fullness of God’s glory can now come upon us to reap the greatest harvest the world has ever seen.

CROSSING OVER

Again, I would say prophetically that I see us at the bank of the Jordan River. But before we can cross over, every cycle of sin in our life, the generational curses that have repeatedly tripped us up year after year must be dealt with. Israel had been delivered from Egypt, but Egypt was still within. So God took the children of Israel on a extended journey to deal with themselves. Before we can fight God’s battles we must fight our own. Before we can deliver a nation of it’s enemies we must be delivered from the enemies within. The first generation of the children of Israel went in circles because they could not overcome their fears and trust completely in God. God is looking for a Joshua generation, a generation that will break the cycles of sin, and cross over into their destiny to establish the kingdom of God throughout the earth.
