God’s Channel
Revival has a purpose; it is not to be based on feelings. We need to understand the purpose behind the current Revival that is taking place world wide, particularly in Lakeland, Florida, so that we can know how to walk into its Grace.
Ezekiel 47:1-6
In my vision, the man brought me back to the entrance of the Temple. There I saw a stream flowing east from beneath the door of the Temple and passing to the right of the altar on its south side. The man brought me outside the wall through the north gateway and led me around to the eastern entrance. There I could see the water flowing out through the south side of the east gateway. Measuring as he went, he took me along the stream for 1,750 feet and then led me across. The water was up to my ankles.
He measured off another 1,750 feet and led me across again. This time the water was up to my knees. After another 1,750 feet, it was up to my waist. Then he measured another 1,750 feet, and the river was too deep to walk across. It was deep enough to swim in, but too deep to walk through. He asked me, "Have you been watching, son of man?"
We see here that Ezekiel was shown a stream, and the measurement went first to his ankle, then his knee, to his waist, finally the measurement was to the point of a river and was too deep to walk across. Each different level of reformation has been marked by Revivals through history. Each revival has had different measurements of Grace, emphasized with different characteristics.
Prophetically we have entered the measurement of the River. The revival streams of yesterday have come together and converged into one big river revival. The revival streams of yesterday died when man contained or controlled it. This river revival cannot be contained or controlled. It is too big to be contained in any individual person or place, and the more that step into this grace, the greater the glory that comes.
God is flooding the earth, but this time with His spirit, and we are His agents, or channels which His River is to cover the earth. It is the release of the nameless, faceless, placeless, ageless generation.
We are entering as the bible describes the fullness of time, or the restoration of all things. The church is at the riverbank of the Jordan and God is saying come in. Jesus is there to baptize us with the seven-fold spirit of God, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.
Ezekiel 47:7-12
Then he led me back along the riverbank. When I returned, I was surprised by the sight of many trees growing on both sides of the river. Then he said to me, "This river flows east through the desert into the valley of the Dead Sea. The waters of this stream will make the salty waters of the Dead Sea fresh and pure. There will be swarms of living things wherever the water of this river flows. Fish will abound in the Dead Sea, for its waters will become fresh. Life will flourish wherever this water flows. Fishermen will stand along the shores of the Dead Sea. All the way from En-gedi to En eglaim, the shores will be covered with nets drying in the sun. Fish of every kind will fill the Dead Sea, just as they fill the Mediterranean. But the marshes and swamps will not be purified; they will still be salty. Fruit trees of all kinds will grow along both sides of the river. The leaves of these trees will never turn brown and fall, and there will always be fruit on their branches. There will be a new crop every month, for they are watered by the river flowing from the Temple. The fruit will be for food and the leaves for healing."
See we are not crossing over the Jordan but into it, and it is now going with us into the world. All of a sudden the dead things around us are now turning to life. Fruit is now abounding, without effort. The giants in our life are being slain. For when we are full of Him, we have His nature, and fruitfulness is a natural thing. People we have prayed for with no results are now being suddenly healed, not by what we do but who we are with.
To walk in this grace we have to remain an open channel, we got to let things go! We got to let things just bounce right off. And that is what this river is all about; God’s love being so deep, what use to hurt us doesn’t affect us anymore. The river current within us the burden breaking, yoke destroying, power of God is constantly breaking through and breaking out bringing forth healing to the nations!
